Meet the Piedade Indians, an everlasting people…

Deep in the mountainous Sao Paulo region of Brazil, in a village called Piedade, there exists a forgotten world, a world where an ancient people harness a powerful secret – the secret to longer, healthier living.

This special secret is rooted in a legend that still exists among the Piedade tribes of today. Centuries ago, it is said that the ancestors of the Piedade people voyaged from across a vast ocean to start a new life in a once-fabled land. With intrepid steps, they tread upon the Americas, with determination, they conquered her innate perils, and with great pride, they embarked upon a new civilization. According to legend, this devout society favored a more peaceful existence than other tribes. They preferred fishing and agriculture over hunting, and they placed great emphasis on spirituality. In return for their pious ways, they were blessed with spiritual instruction and valuable agricultural practices which would aid them in times of drought and pestilence. But more importantly, they were rewarded the secret of life through the mystical powers of the Cogumelo de Deus– the mushroom of God.
